Rental Policy


The Resort offers Weekly, Midweek, and Weekend rental rates. Weekly rentals must be booked Monday through Monday (7 nights). Midweek rentals must be booked Monday through Friday (4 nights). Weekend rentals must be booked Friday through Monday (3 nights). For a more personalized stay, please give us a call at 618-364-8088.

Rates and conditions are subject to change without notice.

Additional guests may be accommodated, however, due to local fire codes, the number of guests may not exceed the maximum number the rental will sleep.

Reservations and Payments

Guests can choose to pay a 50% deposit or pay in full when booking online.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal.

If you have chosen to pay a deposit instead of the full amount, you will need to pay the remaining balance at least one week prior to arrival.  To pay your remaining balance, please click here.

Refunds and Cancellations

All reservations are non-refundable. If for any reason you need to change or cancel your stay with us, you will receive a credit that may be applied toward a future stay at The Resort. We do not refund due to road conditions or inclement weather. We recommend 4-wheel drive vehicles during the winter months.


Check-in time is 3:00 PM CST. Every effort will be made to have your unit ready but during peak season there may be a slight delay and your patience is greatly appreciated.

The guest the unit is registered to must be the person to check-in unless previous arrangements are made. Guests must have a valid credit card and photo identification to check-in. Registered guests must be 21 years of age or older.


Check out time is at 11:00 AM CST.  All trash must be taken to the marina dumpster located to the north of the marina parking lot.  Place all used towels in the shower.  Do not leave any food in the refrigerator, on counters or in cabinets.  Either take it with you or throw it in the trash.  Wash all used dishes and put them away.  If dishes are left for housekeeping to clean, there will be a $25 fee applied to your card.


The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. We also are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.


There is a $150 pet fee with a maximum of 2 pets allowed.  If you have not paid this fee, please come down to the office to make your payment on arrival.  All pets must be on flea and tick preventative.  All pets must be on a leash when on the Resort premises.  All pets must stay off all furniture.  An additional cleaning fee of $25 will be charged to your card if pet fur/dander/prints are on any furnishings.  If you leave your pet in your cabin for any length of time, they must be kenneled within the cabin.

Security / Damage Deposit

There is a refundable $200 damage deposit for all cabins. This deposit will be refunded in full if there is no damage to the cabin.

Grill Safety and Fire Pit

Cabins are all wood structures surrounded by trees, please be cautious when operating the grill and the fire pit. Outside fires MUST be in the fire pit provided and tended to at all times. Also, be aware of wind conditions while using the fire pit. We ask that guests do not build a fire during windy conditions.


Absolutely no smoking is allowed in the cabins!  If smoking occurs or if butts are brought inside the cabin, there will be a $300 fee applied to your card.


The Code of conduct rules must be followed by all guests. Inappropriate conduct or behavior includes and not limited to: violence, verbal or physical abuse, violating any part of this said agreement, act or acts that threaten the safety of others, an annoyance to others, and unauthorized animals. Guests will be asked to leave the premises if the staff determines the guest’s behavior is inappropriate or unacceptable.
